How this Karmic Tail is calculated
We use the bottom/center method and show the result in past–present–future order (F–G–D). Keep every number from 1 to 22; only add digits again when a value is greater than 22. For example, 21 stays 21 and 29 becomes 11. There is no extra reduction to a single digit.
- A = reduced birth day; B = month; C = reduced sum of the year digits.
- D (bottom / future) = reduce(A + B + C).
- E (center) = reduce(A + B + C + D).
- F (past) = reduce(D + E).
- G (present) = reduce(F + D). Read the tail as F–G–D.
Worked example: August 17, 1992
A = 17, B = 8, C = 21. D = reduce(46) = 10; E = reduce(56) = 11; F = 21; G = reduce(31) = 4. The result is 21-4-10.

Karmic tail and karmic debt are different
This tool uses three Destiny Matrix positions. It does not perform a karmic-debt calculation, and it does not diagnose personality, health, or relationships. The Arcana names here use Justice at 8, Strength at 11, and The Fool at 22.

What does this Karmic Tail Calculator show?
It shows three Destiny Matrix numbers in past–present–future order, using the bottom/center method explained on this page. These are symbolic positions, not facts about past lives or predictions.
How are the three numbers calculated?
Reduce the birth day and the sum of the year digits only when they exceed 22. Add day, month and year values for the bottom number D. Add those values and D for center E. Past F is reduced D + E; present G is reduced F + D. The result is F–G–D.
Should 21 be reduced to 3?
No. This method keeps every value from 1 to 22, not only 11 and 22. Only values greater than 22 are reduced by adding their digits.
Why might another calculator give a different result?
Schools can use different chart positions, reduction rules or display orders. Compare the stated method and intermediate values. Our worked example for August 17, 1992 is 21-4-10.
Is this a full Destiny Matrix or karmic-debt calculator?
No. It calculates the three tail positions only. A full chart includes other positions; karmic-debt numerology uses a different calculation.
